Tea Party Food Table

In March I hosted a tea party for my mom's 50th birthday. It was nice to have her friends over for some girly fun. We served tea, of course, as well as scones, carrot soup, cookies, cake, meat pies and lots of other delicious bites. It took a while to prepare everything, but it was totally worth it. Here are some highlights from the event:

This is an edited version of the homemade invitations I made. I was really pleased with how they turned out, especially the tea bag tag.

Thank You's:

Thank you to Tori for all of your hard work. You are an amazing hostess and you made my life so much easier that day!

Thank you to Uncle Ian for lending us the lovely tea set.

Thank you Dad for staying up late to help me make tea sandwiches.

And finally, thanks Mom for cooking all that food with me. I hope you enjoyed your special day!

Yes, it was wonderful to be able to share cooking with you, as I shared that experience cooking with my mom over many years.
My 50th birthday was very special with friends, family and good eats.
