Please note: I received the Weber Q 1200 grill as a gift from Weber.
After months of playing with this baby, I finally filmed a video review for it! Did you know that I have a YouTube channel? It’s been fairly neglected, but I’m trying to start creating more content for it. I actually enjoy creating videos, it’s a nice change of pace from writing and photography.
I received the Weber Q 1200 Portable Grill back in February, at the Weber Bloggers Party, when it was still -30°C outside. Every blogger who attended received one of these cuties and we were supposed to write a blog post about them. I meant to, but the snow in my backyard didn’t melt until around the end of April. Ugh.
You can take a look at my review in the video at the top of this post. I didn’t get into the specs for the grill in the video, so if you need that info take a look at the Weber Q 1200 page on the Weber website. To get more information on how to attend a grilling class at Weber, check out the Weber Grill Academy website.
EDIT: 14/07/2015: A representative from Weber reached out to say “One small detail from our side, we never oil the cooking grates. The oil just burns off when the grill is pre-heated so it’s always best to oil the food, not the grates.” I still prefer to oil the grate right before I put my food down, but you can figure out what works best for you 🙂
