Please note: I received the Weber Q 1200 grill as a gift from Weber.
After months of playing with this baby, I finally filmed a video review for it! Did you know that I have a YouTube channel? It’s been fairly neglected, but I’m trying to start creating more content for it. I actually enjoy creating videos, it’s a nice change of pace from writing and photography.
I received the Weber Q 1200 Portable Grill back in February, at the Weber Bloggers Party, when it was still -30°C outside. Every blogger who attended received one of these cuties and we were supposed to write a blog post about them. I meant to, but the snow in my backyard didn’t melt until around the end of April. Ugh.
You can take a look at my review in the video below. Be sure to click the little gear in the toolbar change the quality settings. This will let you see the video in all its beautiful HD glory. And if you like the video, give it a thumbs up! You can also subscribe to my channel to see more videos from me.
I didn’t get into the specs for the grill in the video, so if you need that info take a look at the Weber Q 1200 page on the Weber website. To get more information on how to attend a grilling class at Weber, check out the Weber Grill Academy website.
EDIT: 14/07/2015: A representative from Weber reached out to say “One small detail from our side, we never oil the cooking grates. The oil just burns off when the grill is pre-heated so it’s always best to oil the food, not the grates.” I still prefer to oil the grate right before I put my food down, but you can figure out what works best for you 🙂
